We are excited to be holding two levels of Luck of the Draw competitions, an open strictly division, and (new this year) a solo jazz competition! We will also have an un-scored showcase division. While the rest of the event is open to everyone, competitions are for STUDENTS ONLY! Each competition is $5.
Luck of the Draw
Get ready to show us something cool in our two Luck of the Draw competitions!
Newcomer: For our newest lindy hoppers! Dip your toes into the competition pool in this friendly and fun low-key competition. If have been dancing a year or less, this is the level for you!
Open: For our seasoned collegiate dancers. Throw down in the prelims and dance to the band for our finals. If you have been dancing for a couple years, this is the level for you!
Strictly
In this open level competition, pick your partner ahead of time and show us what you can do. This is not a choreographed routine; like a Luck of the Draw you won’t know what music is coming, but you will dance with just your partner the whole time.
Solo Jazz
In this open level competition, throw down to the music by yourself. We will have all-skate prelims that tap in straight to finals.
Showcase
Got some choreography? Come show it off! Whether a group number, a partnered routine, or solo dancing, anything is welcome. This year we will not be scoring the Showcase division, so there is no entrance fee.
